"Tapi kami baru-baru ini berbicara di telepon dan ia terdengar jauh lebih baik sekarang. Dia (Ferguson) tak henti-hentinya berbicara soal sepakbola. Dia mengatakan pada saya bahwa ia akan kembali menyaksikan laga klub kesayangannya MU di Old Trafford, Januari nanti."
Sir Alex Ferguson merupakan manajer legendaris yang melatih MU selama 26 tahun. Ia telah menghadirkan banyak gelar juara buat klub berjuluk The Red Devils itu.
Setelah tak lagi menjabat sebagai pelatih MU, pria berusia 76 tahun itu tetap sering terlihat berada di Old Trafford untuk menyaksikan MU bertanding. Ia bahkan masih datang saat MU menjamu Arsenal di Old Trafford di awal tahun ini untuk memberikan kado perpisahan pada sahabatnya Arsene Wenger.
Tapi Ferguson berhenti datang ke Old Trafford sejak mengalami pendarahan otak di bulan Mei 2018 kemarin. Pria asal Skotlandia itu harus mendapatkan perawatan khusus di rumah sakit dan sempat menjalani beberapa kali operasi, sebelum diijinkan keluar dari rumah sakit di bulan Juni 2018.
